The Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) is an international, non-profit organization that facilitates the meeting of thought leaders in technology and policy in order to find innovative solutions for family online safety. The mission of the Family Online Safety Institute is to identify and promote best practices, tools and methods in the field of online safety.

The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) is the only recognized non-statutory organization in the UK operating an Internet ‘Hotline’ for the public and IT professionals to report their exposure to potentially illegal content online.
The IWF works in partnership with UK Government departments such as the Home Office and the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform to influence initiatives and programs developed to combat online abuse. This dialogue goes beyond the UK and Europe, to ensure greater awareness of global issues and responsibilities.
